Our Key Programmes
Programme for Active Learning (PAL) Modules
Our Programme for Active Learning offers carefully designed modules that provide students with diverse experiential learning opportunities across multiple domains. These modules are strategically structured to support developmental progression and ensure comprehensive exposure to various learning experiences.
Primary 1 Programme
Primary 1 students engage in three foundational modules that establish essential skills and positive learning attitudes. The Music and Movement module develops rhythmic awareness, coordination, and creative expression through integrated musical and physical activities. Students explore sound, rhythm, and movement whilst building confidence in creative self-expression.
The Visual Arts module introduces students to fundamental artistic concepts and techniques, encouraging creative exploration and visual communication skills. Through hands-on activities, students develop fine motor skills, aesthetic appreciation, and the ability to express ideas through various artistic media.
The Sports and Games module focuses on developing gross motor skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship through age-appropriate physical activities. Students learn fundamental movement skills whilst experiencing the joy of active participation and collaborative play.
Primary 2 Programme
Primary 2 students advance to three complementary modules that build upon foundational skills whilst introducing new areas of exploration. The Outdoor Education module connects students with their natural environment, developing environmental awareness, problem-solving skills, and appreciation for outdoor activities through structured exploration and discovery-based learning.
Students continue their artistic development through the Visual Arts module, progressing to more sophisticated techniques and concepts whilst maintaining focus on creative expression and aesthetic development.
The Drama module introduces students to theatrical expression, developing communication skills, creativity, and confidence through role-play, storytelling, and performance activities. This module enhances verbal and non-verbal communication whilst fostering imagination and collaborative creativity.
